Avoid the Dial-Up Sound

I am embarking on a journey with the goal to create my own ePortfolio. This Blog section is intended to inspire you to make your own. 

The idea of an ePortfolio scared me at first. Imagining the time, limitless possibilities, and purpose has overwhelmed me. I started off using Weebly but quickly discarded this platform after stumbling on Wix. 

Wix has been a blessing. To design the template and presentation of my ePortfolio was easy. Wix has an AI that can help you set up. It was so much fun chatting and seeing my suggestions applied instantly. It helped me with the theme, layout, and overall vibe. 

As for the pages and blog posting, I looked at various examples provided by Lamar alumni (Harapnuik, 2023), as well as the suggestions from my discussion groups. I have no clue how the domain aspect works, but that is a lesson for another day. 

Use the AI to start your design. Have fun and explore. I promise you, it won’t break. Be forgiving. This is a live site that will change with you. As an RLA teacher, I see it as a draft, not my final product. Here is where we will learn what fits us.
