It is real. I cannot believe that I am creating products about my beliefs and preparing to share them in a massive way. Up to this semester, I spent time taking my feelings and experiences and giving it life. I have reflected and created. I feel vindicated and inspired. This semester has been a big step. I am taking those moments and crafting lessons, presentations, and activities. I am doing instead of waiting. This is scary, yet fun.
This course is about reaching others. I took my innovation plan and created lessons and slide decks to reach and inspire others.
Alternate PL-Call to Action. By the end of the presentation, I felt that it wasn't engaging enough and sure enough that is what was noted. I am secure about the concepts. The principles are essential and easy to follow, which is very useful. Another thing I had to rethink is who is my audience. In my mind, I was making a call towards administrators and superintendents; when my innovation plan is meant for bilingual teachers and language acquisition personnel. I have shifted my audience incorrectly for this assignment.
Planning the Alternative PL Assignment. Similarly to the previous assignment, my audience was not clear; which is valid because it was not clear to me until now. I have to readjust my focal point to the original plan. Because of my lack of confidence in this assignment, I didn't let it flow. I will readjust and segway my information better.
Connecting and Communicating Your Ideas. I upgraded my whole page for this assignment. The goal is to address the intended audience. I am still working on session decks, but I am struggling figuring out what I want to implement in each chunk.
For this course, I relied heavily on the GroupMe. My classmates are on this group chat all day. They post their assignment and we collaborate with feedback. I have relied on their models and comments. I take what I have read and implement it as best as I can. The Discussion Boards were helpful in getting my ideas together. Yes professor Harapnuik, I do watch your recordings, multiple times. I just thought you were no longer going to post, thus I stressed and tried my best without your guidance. I am very grateful for the videos, because my notes confuse me at time and others in the chat confuse me as well. I also want to thank Mr. Ruiz because the notes and guidance on my assignments have helped me create an improved ePortfolio. Depending my confidence level at the end of this week, will sway my perspective in my grade. I am working for an A if I were to put a grade value. I want to be able to connect with others; each day, I am more and more excited to move beyond the classroom to collaborate with others.
